The Mariposa County Chipping Program will involve minor disturbances to land and vegetation to chip and redistribute fire fuels removed from defensible space around residences. The chipping and redistribution of trees and brush will complete work necessary to reduce fire risk and prevent regrowth of weeds and invasive plants. The proposed chipping activities are not expected to generate any significant environmental effects.
