Document Description
Stabilize the chimney on the historic Hospital Building at Fort Humboldt Historic State Park to prevent further damage and maintain the cultural resource. Work will construct and install a steel frame inside the chimney flue that will extend down below the roofline and construct bracing inside the attic space to secure the chimney to the roof framing. This steel frame will weigh approximately 200 pounds and may require a small crane to safely install it over the top of the existing chimney.
