Document Description
Santa Rosa City Schools is proposing to improve existing track and field facilities at Elsie Allen High School. The existing synthetic track has bleacher seating and is equipped with nighttime lighting. Improvements to the facility include: replacement of the grass playing surface with an all-weather turf; replacement of the existing track with a new surface; and, replacement of the existing 800-seat east side bleachers with new 1,200 seat bleachers to meet existing seating demands (for a net increase of 400 seats; no change to the west side bleachers is proposed). No additional lighting or parking is proposed as part of these improvements and no significant change in event scheduling is proposed.

All public services are available to the site and are presently utilized by the existing school. The project will not increase student capacity and will not increase existing facilities' footprints by more than 50 percent.
