Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the Project applicant, Pine Mountain Lake Association. The project consists of the dredging of approximately 27,000 cubic yards of sediment from 6 locations in the inlet and cove areas of Pine Mountain Lake, specifically 1st Garrotte Creek, 2nd Garrotte Creek, Big Creek, Unit 4-North, Unit 4-South, and Fisherman's Cove to improve access to boat docks. Dredged materials will be piped to a disposal area in another deeper area of the lake. To limit turbidity, diffusers will be used on the discharge end of pipe, which will discharge near the lake bottom, and the disposal area will be isolated from the reaminder of the reservoir during operations.
