The proposed project's purpose is to stabilize and establish a routine maintenance plan for Kehoe ditch in order to protect private residences from erosion and flooding at time of high runoff flows. Kehoe ditch is a man-made drainage ditch that functions as a diversion channel for storm water runoff primarily from the hillsides east of the North Cabrillo Highway (State Hwy 1).
