Document Description
The Project will upgrade existing infrastructure and improve the performance of the anaerobic digestion system, which conditions municipal wastewater solids and industrial waste solids for beneficial use or disposal. The project components include digester tank improvements, digester system additions and improvements, relocation of the existing fats, oils and grease (FOG) receiving facility, and demolition of an existing decommissioned building to provide staging area during construction. The majority of the digester work will occur on the current MWWTP site. The FOG facility construction and building demolition will take place on the newly-acquired former U.S. army Reserve property.
