General Plan Housing Element Update as required by California Code 65580. A Negative Declaration has been prepared and will be circulated for 20 days prior to hearing. The revision to the Housing Element is not a complete rewrite due to the fact that County adopted the current version in July 2004 as part of an entire General Plan update. Vacant Land Inventory and other programs remain substantially consistent with the previous EIR prepared for the General Plan.
