Document Description
Marin County Day School is proposing to modify the streambed and banks of an unnamed stream channel tributary to San Francisco Bay in order to enhance and restore the stream channel back to its former alignment and increase habitat for biological resources. Implementation of the project will be conducted in two phases and will include the following: site grading and removal of concrete, widening and setback of stream bank slopes and flood plain area, installation of rock step pools and native boulders, and replanting of stabilized streambed and bank areas with native vegetation. The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2008-0167-3 pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Geoff Smick/WRA.
