Document Description
The project would maintain the majority of the existing office and commercial uses, including surface and structured parking. However, a portion of existing commercial (a movie theater, restaurant, and parking spaces) would be demolished to construct new residential uses and associated parking on-site. Five-story row homes (with flats above) providing 73 residential units and a 22 story tower (Tower 1) providing 198 residential units and additional commercial would be constructed along Hazard Center Drive. A 21 story tower (Tower 2) providing an additional 202 residential units and commercial would be also constructed at the northeast portion of the site (corner of Friars Road and Frazee Road) with a four story structured parking garage. A 0.63 acre public park is proposed within an undeveloped remainder parcel located at the far southwest corner of the project site.
