- The project involves the development of 10 acres of vacant land into a cellulose ethanol production facility utilizing waste cellulose feed stock from an adjacent landfill. The Project will result in permanent impacts to 10 acres of Mohave ground squirrel (Spermophilus mohavensis) habitat. Project-related impacts are expected to result in the take of Mohave ground squirrely, a species protected by CESA.
