The proposed project will not involve any construction, nor earth moving activities - rather an exchange of water for future delivery. Tejon Ranch Company (Tejon) purchase some exportable water (8,393 acre-feet) from the Nickel Family LLC (Nickel) for delivery in 2008 and may purchase more in future. Tejon will transfer purchased Nickel Water to Westside Mutual in exchange for an amount of Westside's banked water supply in the Kern Water Bank (KWB), which will be transferred to Tejon Castac Water District's KWB storage account.
