As part of the proposed Thunder Valley Casino Expansion Project (TEIR SCH #2007062072) additional improvements to the temporary parking lot (Parcel B) are proposed to ensure sufficient parking and accociated facilities for casino guests, employees, and construction workers as well as contractors offices and construction equipment during the expansion project.

The proposed additional improvements tot he temporary parking lot project appear to satisfy three exemptions categories provided under CEQA, including (1) action taken to provide :minor alteration of existing facility with no expansion of the existing use" (2) action taken to "construction and location of limited number of new, small facilities or structures." (3) actions taken to provide for "minor temporary use of land having negligible or no permanent efects on the environment."
