Document Description
The project has two elements: 1) Replacement of medium intensity runway lights (MIRL), replacement of basic visual approach slope indicator lighting (VASI) with precision approach path indicator lighting (PAPI), addition of entrance taxiway hold signs, and lighted wind cones, 2) reduce runway width from 150 feet to 100 feet an reconstruct pavement. The existing direct burial electrical system has become unreliable and a maintenance problem due to its age.
