Document Description
This project proposes to realign a segment of an existing road right-of-way located ~10 miles north of the town of Coalinga where a landslide took out an ~300' portion of the Joaquin Ridge Road this past February 2008. Joaquin Ridge Road provides the only access to the telecommunications and radio towers located at Joaquin Ridge repeater site that are critical to fire, police, and other emergency response agencies for 911 calls and day to day communication needs.

This road segment to be constructed is indeed an existing facility. The proposed project shall realign the road while stabilizing the land slide that destroyed ~300' of the original road prism. Reshaping and grading shall occur on ~1 acre.
