Remove English ivy (Hedera helix) and periwinkle (Vinca major), two invasive non-native plant species, that are dominant in ~10 acres along the Avenue of the Giants in Humboldt Redwoods State Park for resource management and landscape enhancement. Work will use manual removal and the Waipuna Hot Foam system where feasible (>150' from the road and safe parking). This system uses natural compounds and hot water to trap steam within the foam overheating and killing the vegetation.
