Document Description
The project will replace the existing floating dock system. The replacement system will be located nearby. The existing layout does not meet current ADA, Cal-Boating and safety standards. Relocating the dock system will allow for a more efficient and safer configuration. The project will also construct an access ramp to reach the gangway. It is necessary to remove two pine trees. The California Natural Diversity Database and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife website has been researched and no threatened or endangered species will be affected by the project. The project will require very minor excavation for the abutment footings. The minimal ground disturbing activity will result in no impact to any cultural resources that might be in the vicinity. The existing structure is not in use and will be removed when funding is available.
