Document Description
This project includes a number of improvements to an existing USFS/CAL FIRE Communications Facility utilized by both agencies. The facility is located within CAL FIRE's Valley View Conservation Camp. The Camp occupies 15 acres of property owned by the U.S. Forest Service (Mendocino National Forest) and is leased to CAL FIRE under a Special Use Agreement (#1039-01). CAL FIRE will be conducting this project with USFS approval.

No unusual circumstances existing on this property which would preclude the use of a NOE, and CAL FIRE has completed a limited environmental review to confirm the absence of unusual circumstances which would preclude the use of this exemption pursuant to the discussion of Exceptions found in CEQA Guidelines 11 CCR 15300.2.
