Document Description
The adopted Specific Plan is a City sponsored project, and envisions a high intensity mixed use Transit Oriented Development (TOD) within the Project Area. The Specific Plan allows for a maximum 2500 residential units and approximately 2.2 million sf of commercial space within transit villages planned around proposed eBART station sites. The Specific Plan adoption process includes the following components:
- Adoption of the "Hillcrest Station Area Specific Plan".
- Adoption of amendments to the text and graphics of the City's General Plan to ensure consistency with the "Hillcrest Station Area Specific Plan".
- Rezoning the specific plan project area to Planned Development (PD) Zoning.
