Document Description
SMUD proposes to construct approximately 1.0 mile of overhead 69-kV double-circuit subtransmission power line to provide electric service to a dedicated 60MVA customer substation at OptiSolar. In general, the proposed subtransmission line route will parallel surface streets from about 400 feet north of McClellan Park Drive to a dedicated customer substation located northwest of Parker Avenue and Dean Street within the McClellan Business Park. In addition, the proposed project would consist of removing up to 3,200 feet of existing 69-kV circuit.
