The SFPUC is proposing 1) treatment process improvements including 5 additional filters, upgrades to the Chemical Storage Area, upgrades to solids handling area; 2) seismic reliability improvements including internal structural improvements, pipeline stabilization, slope stabilization; and 3) electrical, HVAC, and site access improvements at the Harry Tracy Water Treatment Plant. The project also may include the relocation of the treated water storage tanks elsewhere on SFPUC property if recommended in the geotechnical report.
