Document Description
The project would include the demolition of all existing on-site structures and the construction of a 7,200 square foot Council Chambers building, a 55,000 square foot City Hall, a 32,000 square foot Community Center, and a 2.5-level parking garage with approximately 280 parking spaces. The project would include the approval of amendments to the General Plan and Downtown Specific Plan to allow development within areas currently designated City Park, as well as adjacent roadways and parking lots. In addition, a new district zone would be added to the Downtown Specific Plan, as well as adjacent roadways and parking lots. In addition, a new district zone would be added to the Downtown Specific Plan specifically for the 5.49-acre site to facilitate the construction of the new Civic Center complex in the proposed form and configuration.
