Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Game is executing Lake or Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2008-0030-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Squaw Valley Ski Corporation. Restoration of a portion of Squaw Creek and two unnamed tributaries to Squaw Creek. 30 feet of drainage culvert will be removed to restore natural flows to a 50 feet reach of the original channel. Repairs to a flood scrap created as a result of extreme high flows in 1997 will be repaired and additional riparian vegetation will be established.
