Document Description
The 0.09-acre Project includes constructing a new 23-foot-wide by 100-foot-long bridge. The bridge abutments will be located outside of waters of the state but the center bent with two 36-inch piers will be located within the existing North Fork of South Littlejohns Creek. The new bridge will be constructed at Forward Landfill to provide all weather access to the north side of the South Littlejohns Creek where a soil borrow pit is located. The new bridge will be part of an access improvement program that allows safe and low impact access and movement around the site, avoiding the need to utilize existing seasonal creek crossings which can dangerous or unusable during the winter or high flows.
