Document Description
SMUD will remove approximately 25 cubic yards of woody debris and rocks/ boulders that are currently restricting flow into the tunnel. To perform the debris removal, SMUD requested a temporary reservoir level modification for Junction Reservoir to allow the work to be performed above the water surface. The target elevation to perform the work is elevation 4,370 feet. All accumulated trashrack woody debris will be lifted out of the reservoir and hauled offsite as necessary, rocks/boulders will be either removed from the reservoir and stockpiled or pulled away from the intake rack and repositioned in the reservoir away from the intake rack, depending on field conditions. No construction activities will be performed within the water body.
