Document Description
Proposed rezone to amend the Southridge SUD schematic plan to change the approved developable areas, which are restricted due to steep terrain and unstable geology in the area. An alternative homesite and access on this 27 acre parcel are being requested. The SUD currently allows access via Oregon Street/Democrat Gulch Road/West Weaver Road at the southwest portion of the parcel and a homesite in the southern portion of the parcel. The proposed alternative homesite is located further south of the approved homesite and is higher in elevation. The proposed access would come off of Spring Hill Road (currently approved for emergency escape only) in the northwestern portion of the parcel via a new approximately 1,925 foot roadway with an average 14-16 foot width. A geotechnical report and recommendations are incorporated into the proposed project.
