Document Description
Maintenance dredging of ~35,000 cubic yards of sediment to provide safe navigational and berthing depths along the pier face at Coast Guard Island for up to four newly constructed National Security Cutters which will replace the four existing High Endurance Cutters currently there. The NSCs require a slightly deeper draft than the historic design depth of -28 feet Mean Lower Low Water; therefore, the proposed project depth is -30 feet, plus a two-foot overdredge allowance.
