Document Description
Kingswood West is a project to remove ground and ladder fuels on a primarily southern facing slope below homes. Of the 15 total acres, three acres are timbered with excessive dead and downed material. The remaining 12 acres are open brush open brush with acattered fir and pine. The first step will be to cut brush by hand from aournd the sesidual trees and the few rocky areas.

This project will be categorically exempt from CEQA due to the fact that only brush or small trees will be removed, ground disturbance will be light, and any soil disturbances can be covered witht he masticated material. Cut brush will retain its root structure and re-sprout.
