The proposed project consists of a Use Permit to build a two-story residential accessory dwelling unit on a 10,500+/- square foot parcel in the RD-5 NPA (residential) zone. The two story accessory unit includes a 690+/- square foot shop/garage on the 1st floor and a 575+/- square foot in-law on the 2nd floor. The height of the residential accessory dwelling will be 23 feet 7 inches, deviating from the Sacramento County Zoning Code Section 305-82 (a), which requires a total height of 16 feet.
