Document Description
Winter stormwater flows within Rodeo Gulch Creek (2005 to 2006) eroded the toe of the roadway embankment causing the slope embankment and associated roadway to fall into the stream channel (FEMA DR-CA 1628). In order to restore the road embankment and associated roadway back to pre-disaster configuration, the following activities need to be completed: construct a new retaining wall, place Rock Slope Protection (RSP) at the toe of the slope, revegetate restored roadway embankment, place new asphalt pavement, and install a new steel guard rail.
