Document Description
The California Department of Transportation, in cooperation with the City of Stockton and San Joaquin Council Governments, is evaluating the effects of major improvements to the State Route 99/Eight Mile Road interchange. The Project is located in the City of Stockton and San Joaquin County. The Project would include the reconfiguration of the interchange, realigning the frontage roads at the interchange, and the replacement of existing bridges over Bear creek. As part of this interchange improvement Project, traffic operations would also be enhanced through implementation of new or modified traffic signal systems and intelligent transportation systems. The alternatives identified for this Project include the No Build alternative and two build alternatives.
