Document Description
The proposed project provides for a proposed 100,000 sq. ft. replacement library at CSU, East Bay. The building will perform the same functions as the existing library and will not result in an increase in campus population. After relocation of library functions to the replacement library, the ultimate use of the west wing of the existing library will be determined through the completion of a study to determine future uses (potentially offices, classrooms). With respect to the east wing, it will undergo a seismic retrofit in the future and following such retrofit, it will continue to house campus support services and library stacks.
