Document Description
CDFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2016-0118-R3, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Marin Municipal Water District.
This project is limited to the placement of Novato Creek dredge spoils within North Deer Island Basin. Approx. 14,000 cubic yards of dredge spoils will be placed in North Deer Island Basin to construct a new structural levee core. Under future authorization and at a future date when funding is available, the levee core will be built to a higher elevation and create a habitat transition levee that will be at a suitable height and slope to act as a soft tidal edge.
