- The project will restore the 50-year design flood capacity of Novato Creek, through the City of Novato. Accumulated sediment will be removed from a dewatered 1.5 mile section of Novato Creek and two tributaries. The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2011-0409-R3 pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Hugh Davis, Marin County Flood Control and Water Conservation District.
