Document Description
Request to expand an existing nut processing facility by adding two storage buildings and a retail store, located on three parcels totaling 271.43 acres. The storage buildings, each approximately 14,000 square feet in size, will be constructed in two phases. Phase One construction is proposed to be completed by the end of 2013. The applicant has also proposed a "secondary retail store" on-site that will be open Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. One full-time and one part-time employee will oversee the retail store. The applicant's "primary retail store" is located within the City of Patterson. The retail store will sell mostly almond related products in addition to various dried fruits, fruit preservatives, and sauces.
