Document Description
The proposed project is the replacement of approximately 1,400 feet of the existing PG&E Line 131 natural gas pipeline including a crossing at Marsh Creek. The project has been designed to minimize ground disturbance, for example by using horizontal directional drilling (HDD) instead of using an open cut installation method to cross Marsh Creek. No changes in operation of Line 131 are planned. Construction is expected to start in July 2008 and take approximately 4 to 5 months to complete, including site preparation, earthwork, pipe removal, and revegetation.
