Document Description
The San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools proposes the development of a new community day school to provide alternative educational placements for expelled and other at-risk youth in grades 7-12. The day school is planned for a maximum daily enrollment of 270 students, however, would initially open with a reduced capacity of 108 students. The school is intended to serve local students and would not generally enroll students from outside of the high-desert community. The new school is scheduled to begin operation in Sept. of 2009.
