The Well 4615-1 project site includes a 0.50-acre site for the proposed well and pumping plant. The site is surrounded by an existing six-foot masonry wall and located within the Versailles residential development. Project construction includes drilling, casing, testing, and developing a 2,000-gallon-per-minute (gpm) domestic water well including the installation of a 300-horsepower motor, 2,000 gpm pump, and other aboveground and underground appurtenances to connect the well and pumping plant to the domestic water distribution system. The purpose of the Well 4615-1 project is to provide additional domestic water service and fire flow to the Mission Hills Pressure Zone which includes the Rancho Mirage area.
