Document Description
CDFW is intending to execute a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code (#1600-2015-0236-R5) to the project applicant, Pepperdine University. The project consists of reconfiguration and relocation of the existing Marie Canyon debris basin and the stockpile approx. 400 feet upstream and the filling of the existing debris basin for construction of an expanded recreational area with turf field, restroom/storage facility, and lights, along with the continued retention to the new debris basin, stockpile, and their appurtenant facilities. The project proposes to impact 0.48 acres of streambed/lake, including 0.05 acres of permanent impact to mulefat scrub habitat and 0.15 acres of permanent impact to coastal sage scrub habitat and mitigate with 0.48 acre of creation or restoration and 0.48 acre of enhancement.
