Document Description
CDFG is executing a Lake or Streambed Alteration Agreement (SAA # 1600-2011-0161-R6) pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant: Southern California Edison, represented by Mr. Hazem Gabr., 1218 S. 5th Avenue, City of Monrovia, State of California, 91016, Phone (626) 462-8715. The proposed Project will include installation of two new 115 kV sub-transmission line segments, a loop-in of the existing Devers-Coachella Valley 220 kV transmission line into Mirage Substation, and three 115 kV sub-transmission line reconfigurations. Other components include rearrangements and modifications of sub-transmission line reconfigurations. Other components include rearrangements and modifications of sub-transmission line connections, construction of substation modifications in the cities of Palm Springs, Rancho Mirage, Indian Wells, Cathedral City, Palm Desert, and unincorporated areas of Riverside County, including the Thousand Palms community, and minor modifications to existing telecommunications equipment at the Edom Hill Communications site and the Palm Springs Service Center. The existing Devers 115 kilovolt Sub-transmission System will be split into two separate sub-transmission systems - the Devers 115 kilovolt Sub-transmission System and the Mirage 115 kilovolt Sub-transmission System.
