This update covers the 2008-2013 period, pursuant to the update cycle for jurisdictions within the Kern Council of Governments (KernCOG) subregion. The Kern County Housing Element covers all unincorporated areas in the County within the Kern County General Plan and Metropolitan Bakersfield General Plan.
