- CPG will forbear diversions of up to 22,252 acre feet of its contracted surface water, made available by crop shifting and land idling, which will be diverted and conveyed by Reclamation and made available to SLDMWA's participating members for irrigation within their respective service areas, during the period June-October 2008. The project is designed to maintain habitat for Giant Garter Snake and other wildlife within CPG's Conaway Ranch.
