Document Description
In July 2019, CDFW discovered that the installation of two concrete Arizona crossings had been completed in one location crossing Haskell Canyon Creek and in one location crossing an unnamed ephemeral road drainage in Santa Clarita, Los Angeles County, California. Concrete fill had been imported and placed within the bed and banks of Haskell Canyon Creek at one location, Crossing A and in an un-named ephemeral drainage crossing an existing dirt road, Crossing B. Alterations resulted in the decrease in channel width and the loss of approximately 0.03 acres of streambed habitat at Crossing A and 0.03 acres at Crossing B. To address the unauthorized activities that impacted 0.03 acres of disturbed/cottonwood-willow habitat and 0.03 acres of disturbed habitat, the Permittee shall monitor the streambed and surrounding habitat at Crossing A and Crossing B for a period of 10 years or until a 50-year storm event has occurred.
