Document Description
The proposed project consists of the construction and operation of an addition to the existing MacArthur Park Primary Center campus. Approximately 35,000 square feet of new space will be added to the existing 15,000 square feet of the MacArthur Park Primary School Campus. Classrooms, a multi-purpose building, library, food services building with a food shelter, playfield, and an underground parking structure will be built. The proposed project will provide 400 new seats to the existing 250 seat campus and will add 16 new classrooms to the existing 10 classrooms. The school will serve kindergarten through fifth grade and is scheduled to open during the third quarter of 2012. The school will be on a two semester calendar and will be open during normal business hours (8:00 am to 5:00 pm), with potential evening civic center uses.
