Document Description
CDFG is executing a Streambed Alteration Agreement (SAA #1600-2012-0048-R6) pursuant to Section 1602 of the fish and Game Code to the project Applicant: City of Norco, represented by Steve King, 2870 Clark Avenue Norco, CA 92860. The project is limited to the development of a variety of equestrian, recreation and related uses on a vacant 122-acre parcel of land at the north end of the City of Norco. The project will provide extensive lawns (natural and artificial) to accommodate equestrian shows, up to 28 soccer fields, along with football, lacrosse, and field hockey fields. The Project also includes equestrian trails, a multi-use permanent barn and event structure, portable barns, all-weather surface areas for riding arenas, and speed and agility training fields. An existing ranch style structure will be restored as a reception hall for social events, first aid station, and business offices. Construction of facilities for picnic playground, camping, an RV park, lighting of night events, and an ancillary storage/maintenance facility are included as part of this project. A large electric multi-media sign will be located on the southeast portion of the project site, near the I-15 Freeway.
