The applicant's request is to expand the size of the transfer station where solid waste is transferred and where recyclables will be removed from the waste stream and to construct a 64 square foot scale house building. The existing transfer station is 25,370 square feet. The applicant is proposing to demolish portions of the existing structure and to then add approximately 19,800 square feet to the transfer station. The expanded transfer station will be approximately 39,750 square feet. The expanded facility will include a construction and demolition debris (C & D) sorting line.
