Document Description
The proposed project would provide a 20-bed Psychiatric Service Unit (PSU) facility for women at the CIW, consisting of housing and small management yards. The existing east wing of the Special Care Unit (SCU) would be remodeled to provide 3,500 sf of space for the 20-bed PSU facility. Thte PSU is a segregated housing unit for inmates who require maximum security housing due to various case factors in conjunction with mental health problems.
