Document Description
A Conditional Use Permit is required for a 145-foot tall "monopine" cellular communications tower. No lighting will be required. The subject parcel is +/- 26.5 acres in size and is developed with three residences. Two of the residences were built with permits, the third is a violation. This project's approval will not be granted until such time as the property owner remedies the existing land use violation. The residences are served by on-site water and sewer. The Special Permit is required to exceed the RS zone's height limit of 35 feet, Design Review and minor tree removal. The tower will be developed with 12 panel antennas at the top and a 4 foot diameter microwave dish at the 125-foot elevation for Edge Wireless. These antennas will be hidden within the "branches" of the "monopine." This application includes the placement of equipment shed and a propane back-up generator. All Edge facilities will be located within a 3,600 square foot lease area. Tree removal includes the removal of 3 mature conifers and will occur within the 3,600 sf lease area.
