Document Description
A Surface Mining Permit and Reclamation Plan to mine fill material to support the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) State Route 70 Upgrade Project. A total of 1.5 million cubic yards of fill material will be removed from an area totaling 85 acres on portions of three parcels to a depth of 13-14 feet below ground surface (bgs) or 20.15, 19.39, and 16.82 feet mean sea level (msl). The reclamation plan proposes to return the borrow sites to an agricultural use of aquaculture. The project is anticipated to last approximately five years.
