Document Description
Approval 30363 seeks a right to appropriate ten acre-feet per annum of water to storage behind an offstream pit-type reservoir at a rate not to exceed 0.5 cubic feet per second. Water will be diverted from Forsythe Creek to an existing offstream reservoir from December 15 to March 31. Water collected to storage pursuant to this application will be used for irrigation and frost protection of 25 acres. A pump installed at the point of diversion on Forsythe Creek will transport water to the reservoir via an existing 500-foot, four-inch diameter underground pipeline. A second pump installed at the reservoir will transport water for irrigation of the proposed place of use via an existing 50-foot-long, 12-inch-diameter pipeline. The reservoir has an approximate surface area of one acre when full.
