Document Description
The Long Range Transportation Planning (LRTP) is a list of future transportation projects and programs that have been derived in part from the Valley Transportation Plan (VTP) 2030 and its update, VTP 2035 that is currently in process. The LRTP includes several different types of transportation projects (over 300 total), including: mainline highways, interchanges, regional roadway improvements, bus transit, rail corridor improvements, bicycle facilities, and intelligent transportation systems, in and around Santa Clara County. The projects and programs in the LRTP are proposed by VTA for dedication of funding, based on a projection of available funds from a variety of sources. The projects included in the LRTP are intended to serve the Santa Clara County's regional mobility needs to 2035.
